The school has an aim to spread education to every remote corner of the city, to fulfill this purpose, school has a large fleet of 17 buses covering almost every area of city. For the safe transportation of children, all the school buses are equipped with cameras and GPS System to track the vehicle anytime.

 

 

 

In the best tradition of Public School Education, House system has been introduced. The system provides a healthy Inter-House competitions among students in co-curricular and sports activities, under the guidance of teachers. Smart classes use all interactive modules like videos and presentations and these visually attractive methods of teaching becomes appealing to students who are already struggling with the traditional method of teaching in a classroom.  Smart boards have all these information in memory and can be presented during the time of class lectures and thus, the time saved can be used in more important things. A classroom has students with varied power of understanding and learning, and studying from notes and other materials becomes difficult for some students. But the use of smart classes and modern technology eases the learning process for all students. Moreover, this kind of education in class promotes more interaction between teacher and student with more participation from both sides.
To be in pace with in the latest technology the school is well equipped with smart classes. Interactive Software is used in these smart classes. The school having Ten ICR (Intelligent Character Recognition)smart rooms and students from Nursery to XII are taught through them, in rotation.
Students of junior wing enjoy these smart classes by studying their subjects and also by watching movies carrying moral values. While the students of I to IV and V to X are taught all major subjects like English, Science, Maths and S.S.T with the help of these smart classes. These smart classes also cater to the students of Science, Arts and Commerce stream of these school.

On working Saturday the children of Nur. & K.G. can come in civil dress of their choice. From 1st onwards, house dress is compulsory.

Spacious play grounds have been provided which can cater to most of the major and minor games including Hockey, Football, Cricket, Basketball, Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Throw ball, Gymnastics, Table Tennis and Athletics. We have best teams of Cricket, Football, Hockey, Basketball, Tennis, and Badminton. Players can practice in these grounds any time under the supervision of coach. Annual Athletics meet is organized in February or March. Best players in these sports are awarded with medals The school Playgrounds are well furnished. These grounds are situated along with the school. The School has entered the secondary stage and had been upgraded to Senior Secondary stage from the session 2000-2001. With the expansion of the school, it will also add new areas of development. Next phase will include a Swimming pool, Indoor games i.e Table Tennis, Gymnasium etc.

Patiala has made us proud by her wonderful achievement in the field of sports at the National Level.

Mannat Kashyap of class 7thB bagged silver medal in U 17 Cricket Tournament organised by the School Games Federation Of India, held in Jammu and Kashmir.She has also been declared as the Best Bowler.

 

2. Another landmark created  by the sports stars of GNFPS, Patiala.

Two students participated in open Junior National Cross Bow Championship held in Agra.Their achievements are as follows :
a.Gurmanpreet kaur of class +1F bagged gold medal.
b.Damanpreet Singh of class +1C bagged silver medal.

Both of them have also been selected for Cross Bow World Cup Tournaments going to be held in Australia.

 

3. Continuing the journey of triumphs the achievers of GNFPS, Patiala have brought laurels in various fields. They are as follows :


1. Kavidesh of class 4th A bagged first position in 'Punjabi Poetry Recitation 'held at D.A.V.Global School,Patiala.She has been honoured with trophy and certificate.
2. Sehajpreet Singh of class +1 F bagged five medals at National Level and one medal at Inter-National level in Fencing Championship.

He bagged :

a.One bronze medal in team and one silver medal in U 19 School National  SGFI,held in Telangana.
b.One bronze medal in U 17 Open National Fencing Championship held in Gwalior.
c.One bronze medal in U 19 Junior National Fencing Championship held in Manipur.
d.One silver medal in individual U 23 Youth National Fencing Championship held in Delhi.
e.One bronze medal in individual Thailand Open Championship held in Thailand.

 

4. Continuing the journey of triumphs the achievers of GNFPS, Patiala have brought laurels. They participated in poster making competition which was held at NSS Office.

They are as follows :

a. Banipreet kaur of class +2 arts bagged second position .

b. Varsha of class+2 arts bagged third position.

Both of them have been honoured with certificates and medals.

A.Stars of GNFPS Patiala have brought laurels in various fields with their marvellous achievements in the very beginning of the new academic session.

Our stars are

a. Jaiveer Singh of class 5th B who has bagged first position in "Performance of Ardas'' competition held at Sant Baba Karam Singh Gurudwara Sahib,Patiala.

b. Kulrajbir Singh of 11th B bagged first position in' Group Discussion' Competition held at Thapar University, Patiala on 'Earth Day Carnival' celebration.

 

B. Once again the gems of GNFPS Patiala have brought laurels in the field of sports and academics.

Following students have got admission in prestigious institutions.

1.Abhishek Bhatia got All India Rank 785 in IIT and has got admission in IIT Kanpur.

2. Prabhsimran Singh has got admission in Mechanical Engineering in Thapar University.

3.Arpandeep Kaur,Gursehaj Singh and Yashwika got admission in Electronics and Communication in Thapar University.

4.DeepakGupta and Angadpreet Singh got admission in Computer Science in Thapar University.

5.Shivam got admission in Chemical engineering in Chandigarh University.

6.Hargunpreet Singh of class +1A bagged bronze medal in open U-17 International Taekwondo Competition, held at Pokhara in Nepal.

  • Once again the students of GNFPS Patiala have shown marvellous performance in Reliance Foundation Youth Sports held at NIS Patiala from 11-10-18 to 13-10-18.The winners of various events are as follows:-

             2.Stalyn John of +2F got Bronze in 100m race.
 
             3.Arshdeep Kaur of 9-E got Silver in 2000m race.
 
             4.Alampreet Singh of 7-B,Brahmjot Singh &Yuvraj  Singh of 8-C,Amrit Bawa of 6-C won Bronze medal in 4*100 Relay race.
 
             5.Simranjit Kaur of 9-E got Bronze in 400m race.
 
  • Some of our sports stars have broug ht laurels to the institution by winning medals in U-14 district level Swimming Competition, held at M.K.L.Pool,Patiala.The achievers are as follows:-

  • Climbing the ladders of success once again the achievers of GNFPS Patiala have made us feel proud by their marvellous achievements in the field of sports. They participated in Open National Fencing Championship held in Maharashtra. The achievers are as follows:-
 
           1.Jasmine Kaur of class 6th C bagged gold medal in individual and silver medal in team in U-12 in Foil event.
 
           2.Guransh Singh of class 6th A bagged bronze medal in individual and gold medal in team in U -12 EP event.
 
  • Once again one of the sports star of GNFPS Patiala has brought laurels to the institution by winning a Gold in  Boxing in U-17  School State Level Games held at Sports Stadium Bathinda.
  • Fourteen NCC cadets from 9th and 10th classes (12 boys and 2 girls)  from Guru Nanak Foundation public school , Patiala attended NCC Training Camp held at Army Area, Organized by 5 Punjab 120 Battalion, from 18 August to 27 August 2018. In this Camp students were involved in different NCC activities like Drill practice and Weapon Training. Many of our shining stars brought laurels by winning medals in various competitions organised during the camp. The winners are as follows :-
     
    1. Kiranjit kaur class 9th F and Simrat Kaur class 10th D of our school bagged 2nd position in Poster Making Competition".
     
    2. Amrit Singh class 10th F and Tanveer Singh class 10th A bagged silver medal in Quiz Competition.
     
    3.Prabhakaran Singh of class 10th C won Gold medal in Debate Competition.
